Gravhounds Tier List Hub
Honest pre-release ranks for hounds and loadout ideas — labeled as preview.
Gravhounds does not have a ranked ladder, a live win-rate API, or a month of public patch notes. Treating a November 2026 Early Access game like a finished mobile gacha would be dishonest. This hub still exists because players search “Gravhounds tier list” the moment a five-hound roster and Reward Pod upgrades show up in a trailer. We answer that search with two pages and a lot of labels.
Crew preview ranks the public personality kits — not invented DPS charts. Dozer, Selene, and Finn sit higher in discussion because gamescom interviews named their toys. Zane and Luna sit in a flex band until Octopus Panic publishes the same kit detail. Loadouts ranks ideas the studio has described: mobility, raw firepower, defense, and weird stacks from Reward Pods, plus the always-on factory tools from How to build.
Rules for every rank on this wiki
- Preview, not gospel. Tiers will move when Early Access players actually die on the pipe.
- Shared kit first. A Gravhound who cannot place a turret is not a Gravhound. Ranks never assume class lockout.
- Shift length matters. A greedy material run and a short quota job want different extraction bets and different loadout greed.
- Co-op changes value. Dozer mines are better when someone else is allowed to leave the nest. Selene Fetch is better when a crate actually exists at range. Read co-op.
- No fake numbers. If we do not have a cooldown, we do not write one.
How to use these lists before launch
If you are picking a main for the playtest or day one, start on the crew roster, then skim the crew preview to see which public kit matches your hands. If you care more about mid-shift snowball, open loadouts and the Grav Beam page together. Reward Pods are designed so your build mutates while the swarm mutates. The “best” loadout at minute five is not the best at minute twenty.
If you arrived from a YouTube thumbnail that already stamped S-tiers on all five dogs, treat that as entertainment. Octopus Panic has spent years on Halo and Battlefield systems; the interesting part of Gravhounds is not a static character pyramid, it is whether your pack can improvise when the plan lasts thirty seconds. The Getting Started guide is still worth more MMR than any letter grade here.
What we will update after November 2
Once Game Preview is in players’ hands, this hub should grow weapon ranks, enemy priorities, and planet-risk notes if those names are public and stable. Until then, do not expect a secret best legendary. Expect a packing list: who watches the generator, who yeets the leaper, who is allowed to chase a far node, and when you cut the job. That packing list lives across How to extract, How to build, and these two tier pages.
For launch timing and what Early Access is supposed to contain, use Early Access rather than a tier caption.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Gravhounds players.
Is this a live Gravhounds tier list?
No. It is a pre-release preview based on official kit reveals. Ranks will be rewritten after Early Access exists.
Why are some Gravhounds not S-tier?
Should I pick a hound from the tier list or the roster?
Read the crew hub first. Use the crew preview only as a second opinion.
Do loadouts persist between shifts?
Reward Pods reshape a shift in progress. Longer-term unlocks of Gravhounds, weapons, and upgrade paths carry between jobs. Details are on loadouts.
