Gravhounds Platforms and Game Pass

Gravhounds is a PC and Xbox co-op action builder from Octopus Panic. If a thumbnail promised a mobile soft launch or a Roblox place, it is the wrong animal. This page is the store map for the November 2, 2026 Early Access / Game Preview drop, plus languages and Play Anywhere. Specs live on system requirements. The date plan lives on Early Access.

Confirmed platforms

• PC via Steam — app 2440760. Wishlist, playtest request, Windows specs, language table.
• PC via Microsoft Store / Xbox on PC — same Game Preview date, useful if you live in the Microsoft account ecosystem.
• Xbox Series X|S — Game Preview, listed on the Microsoft store product.
• Xbox Game Pass — day one, including Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass in launch coverage. No extra day-one purchase for subscribers.
• Xbox Play Anywhere — shown on the Xbox Wire store module. Buy/play across Xbox console and Xbox on PC in that ecosystem. Steam remains a separate library.

Not announced: PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, mobile, Roblox. Do not pre-order those.

Game Pass versus Steam purchase

If you already subscribe, Game Preview on November 2 is the frictionless path. If you want a Steam library copy, wishlist now. Octopus Panic expects the paid price to rise toward 1.0. Game Pass does not automatically put a Steam key in your Valve inventory. Four-stacks should pick an ecosystem on purpose: mixed Steam + Game Pass PC can still work if everyone can matchmake, but confirm that in the client, not in a wiki guess. See co-op.

That is why this wiki ships English, French, German, and Spanish. No Simplified Chinese or Russian pages, matching both Steam and our rules. More languages can appear later; we will not pretend they are in the client today.

Cross-play

Official materials emphasize Xbox Play Anywhere and PC + console storefronts. A full Steam-versus-Xbox cross-play legal paragraph is not on the Steam FAQ. Do not promise a Steam Deck friend they can squad with an Xbox hound until the client or a studio post says so. Party up inside one ecosystem if the shift matters.

Controllers and input

Full controller support on Steam. Keyboard and mouse are implied for a Windows shooter but not printed as a bind table. Accessibility flags include camera comfort, color alternatives, custom volume, playable without timed input, and subtitles. Map your Grav Beam where your pack can find it.

1. Wishlist Steam even if you plan to use Game Pass — it helps a seven-person studio.
2. Confirm Game Pass if that is your path.
3. Request playtest if you want a possible earlier wave.
4. Read Getting Started so November 2 is not your first time hearing the word fabricator.

The Tools hub is the parent. The Updates hub is the calendar. The planet does not care which store icon you clicked, only whether you brought a pipe.

Family sharing, ratings, and the small print

Steam lists Family Sharing. Ratings in the store API include a German 12 with violence and strong language, and a Brazilian 14. Treat those as store labels, not a wiki age gate. The game includes in-game chat and online interactivity. If you are setting up a family Xbox, use Microsoft family settings, not this page.

Wishlist both Steam and Xbox if you might switch ecosystems later. Play Anywhere will not copy a Steam license onto a console. Keep links handy so you click the real Discord. Then go practice the job on Getting Started so the store icon is not the only thing you studied.
